The Association:was established in 2013 by a group of licensed D.C operators to address the concerns taxi operators..

DRIVER STORIES

Mr. Bennani had a complaint filed against him by a passenger. DFHV filed formal charges against him the fine totaled $4,800.00 with penalties. He came to our office for assistance, we immediately contacted DFHV negotiated on Mr Bennani's behalf and while visiting his home country we were able to inform him we got the case dismissed no fine, no penalties.

Mr. Bitew had a case against him for refusal to haul/discrimination. He came into the office and asked for assistance. He was facing a $500.00 fine and suspension of his For Hire license for 30 days. We had a hearing for the case at OAH, DFHV put on their case and the business agent representing Mr. Bitew presented his side. The administrative law judge dismissed the governments case (DFHV).

Mr. Chimdi had a tax bill from DCRA for $2000.00, we contacted DCRA on his behalf and negotiated the debt down to $62.50.
